I truly believe we are all born magical creative beings, but unfortunately over time we may have lost our connection to our creative power. It's not our fault, growing up in our society can expose us to life expericnes that disconnect us from our true selves. Creative expression is a human need and not allowing ourselves the freedom to express ourselves in creative ways limits us. Just as our limiting beliefs hold us back from realizing our full potential, so does not tapping into our creativity. In this Art as Self Care Workshop by Creative Comadre, Crystal Domi, you will learn how to use mixed media art journaling as a self care practice, even if you have never created art before!

Here's a brief overview of what this workshop will cover:

• Assess needs for creative expression as self care practice
• Explain why creative expression is so vital and how it can be used as a self care practice
• Introduce Mixed Media Art Journaling and explain why it’s a great tool for creative expression
• Share importance of affirmations and the practice of using affirmations in art journal layouts
• Create a mixed media art journal affirmation page layout

This workshop will be virtually in a private Wix Live meeting. Registered particaptes will receive a unique link to join meeting.
